Reaching a
New Generation of Buyers
With every
new generation comes new technologies and before long, new technologies become
the new normal. If companies and organizations want to stay ahead of their
competition, it’s important to adapt to the newest generation of buyers and
expand their marketing tactics to become easy, simple, and fast.
The IPhone generation now in the work place, expect instant
gratification and have it in the palm of their hands. They are spending less
time at conferences and events and more time searching the internet. Content
via email and over social media channels along with active website searches and
larger quantities of information have become the new custom, replacing face to
face contact.
What are we looking for on the internet? Most of us open
Google and use the search box to look for information or for answers to
questions like How To’s. It’s crucial to remember that if you’re not on the
first page of a Google search, the research says you are wasting your revenue, good
luck growing or creating new customers in your field of business. That research
has shown the 99% of people don’t go past the first page on a Google search.
Another tip to reaching this new generation of buyers is to
optimize your website and content to work with Google. Videos, articles,
documents and photos must be able to download or view on a common platform for
any customer to access at any time.
The new generations of buyers make it a practice to be up-to-date
on the newest trends in the media and internet. As a company looking to grow, your
focus should be on reaching this new generation of buyers now to benefit the
future of your company.
